Overview |
---|
Rubber expansion joints are also called flexible joint, rubbercompensator or vibration absorber. Due to the flexibility of rubber, besidemetal expansion joints, rubber expansion joints are always introduced to thepiping system to solve some certain problems.
Rubber expansion joints Full Face Type 1011 are also called wide arch rubber joint. The difference with Single Arch Type 1010 is it has integral rubber flanges. The full face rubber flanges cover the metal ring flange, it is better sealed compare with type 1010. Type 1011 expansion joints are usually installed in high pressure and tough applications.

Pressure rating is for rubberbellows on base of 31 ℃, when higher temperature the pressure rating will reduce.
Movements in above table arenon-concurrent.
Test pressure is 1.5 times thepressure rating. UNICK rubber expansion joints could take 3 times designpressure for safety.
Alternative flange patterns and lengths are available upon request, please contact UNICK for details.
