Rubber expansion joints are also called flexible joint, rubber compensator or vibration absorber. Due to the flexibility of rubber, beside metal expansion joints, rubber expansion joints are always introduced to the piping system to solve some certain problems.
Rubber expansion joints Slip On Type 1040 are molded with one wide arch. Different with other types, Type 1030 expansion joints are completed with stainless steel clamps, it connects pipes with clamps instead of flanges or threaded unions.
